Transportation Services at the University of Sharjah

The University of Sharjah is committed to providing safe, well-organized, and high-quality transportation services that facilitate student mobility and meet their transportation needs both on and off campus. The Transportation Section provides a range of services in coordination with the relevant departments and entities, as follows:

Student Transportation Services

• Transportation for Off-Campus Training
  Transportation is provided for students attending training programs outside the University, according to approved programs and schedules and in coordination with the respective colleges and concerned entities.
• Transportation for Activities and Events
  Transportation services are provided for students participating in activities, programs, events, and visits organized by the University.
• Emergency Transportation
  Emergency transportation is available for students residing in University housing 24 hours a day, seven days a week, for transportation to hospitals and external medical facilities when required, in coordination with the University Housing Department.
• On-Campus Transportation
  The University provides an internal shuttle bus service to transport students between various colleges and facilities across the University campus, ensuring convenient, safe, and easy mobility.

• Transportation from Sharjah City, Surrounding Areas, and the Eastern Region
  A free bus transportation service is available for students travelling between the University of Sharjah and Sharjah City, its surrounding areas, and the Eastern Region. This service is provided by the University City of Sharjah. ```

• Transportation Services for Official Events and Administrative Tasks

In addition to student transportation services, the Transportation Section provides transportation support for the University's official events and administrative activities, including:

1. Providing transportation for guests and participants attending conferences and official events organized by the University.
2. Providing transportation support for newly appointed faculty members when required, in accordance with approved procedures.
3. Providing transportation for official trips, visits, and University assignments.
4. Supporting University events and activities by providing appropriate transportation based on operational requirements and prior coordination.
