
What You Learn
A thorough knowledge of architectural principles, structural analysis techniques, construction methods, and environmental control systems is provided in the comprehensive curriculum of the Bachelor of Architectural Design at the University of Sharjah.
The students are proficient in architectural drawing, computer-aided design, surveying, thermal science, and urban planning. To prioritize sustainability, the program develops an ability to seamlessly integrate aesthetic appeal with structural integrity. The ability to solve problems, work together, and manage projects is developed through practical training and capstone projects. The graduates are well-equipped to deal with the complex issues of architectural engineering. Critical learnings include:

Per the University requirements for graduate degrees, a candidate to be admitted into the PharmD program must fulfill the following minimum requirements:
1. To hold a Bachelor of Pharmacy degree from an International/ UAE-recognized university with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3 out of 4 or its equivalence.
2. The undergraduate degree must have been achieved by attending no less than 75% of the required period. Students with degrees obtained by distance learning will not be considered.
3. To achieve the required English Proficiency score. A minimum of 550 in TOEFL or 6 in IELTS (or its equivalence) is required. A student may be admitted conditionally if he/she obtained 530 points or better on the TOEFL provided that the student must enroll in an English language course and receive a TOEFL score of 550 at the end of his first semester of study. The student will be expelled from the program if these two conditions are not met.
4. The undergraduate degree should be in a subject that would qualify the student for the graduate major he/she wants to pursue. Students with different majors in their undergraduate degrees may be admitted upon the recommendation of the department after studying the prerequisite courses assigned by the department.
5. The student must submit a letter of approval by his/her employer if he/she is employed.
