Psychological Counseling Office

At UoS, we prioritize mental health as much as physical health. Our Psychological Support and Counseling team is dedicated to fostering the well-being of our community. We provide comprehensive counseling services for students, staff, faculty, and parents, offering expert consultation from licensed mental health professionals. Our services include individual and group counseling sessions, psychoeducational workshops and seminars, crisis prevention, intervention, and consultation, psychological testing and clinical assessments, self-help resources, staff training, and referral services. We typically utilize a short-term, solution-focused approach spanning 8 to 10 sessions, with extended interventions available when necessary. Our goal is to help you navigate personal, family, and work-related concerns, ensuring you have the support and resources you need to thrive.

 

Disability Resource Center

Through our collaboration with Sharjah City for Humanitarian Services (SCHS), we have established the Disability Resource Center. At the University of Sharjah, we are committed to fostering an inclusive environment where all students can thrive.
