UOSCD Contributions to EDEC\ICE 2022-2025
Since 2022, the University of Sharjah Center for Diabetes has been a key contributor to the advancement of medical education and research in the UAE through its active involvement in the Emirates Diabetes & Endocrine Congress (EDEC). Its participation has supported the exchange of innovative research findings and evidence-based practices in the fields of diabetes and endocrinology, while fostering collaboration among healthcare professionals. This ongoing engagement reflects the center’s strong dedication to enhancing clinical knowledge, supporting professional growth, and driving excellence in medical education. By aligning its efforts with national health strategies, the center plays a vital role in supporting the UAE’s ambition to lead the region in healthcare innovation and the management of non-communicable diseases. UOSCD has proudly contributed over 30 research projects to EDEC/ICE since 2022, with several winning top awards for excellence in oral and poster presentations.
