Brief of the program:

Sharjah International Foundation for the History of Arab and Muslim Sciences (SIFHAMS), University of Sharjah, is organizing its 7th SIFHAMS International Graduate Winter School (2026) under the theme “Scientific Tradition in Islamic Civilization” in collaboration with Al Qasimia University , Institute of Physics1 in University of Cologne (Germany), MES Mampad College (India) and University of Mexico (Mexico).  It organizes intensive graduate course study and training at MA and PhD levels on the contributions of Muslims to the sciences throughout the history of Islamic Civilization. In addition, it offers number of sessions dealing with various aspects and issues in Islamic Civilization.

The program will be presented in Arabic and English where the simultaneous translation will be available. The program will be a Hybrid (online and on-site) for a period of a week and all of the distinguished speakers will be with different backgrounds and internationally scholars.
