Chinese Cultural Day at the University of Sharjah Reflects the Depth of Emirati–Chinese Relations

The Deanship of Student Affairs, in collaboration with the Language Institute at the University of Sharjah and in coordination with the Chinese Culture and Education Association in the UAE, organized the Chinese Cultural Day event, with the participation of a delegation from Fujian University in China.
The event was attended by Dr. Amna Al Marzouqi, Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs; Dr. Eid Kanaan, Dean of Student Affairs; and Dr. Asmaa Awad, Director of the Language Institute, along with Mr. Liu Xin, Secretary-General of the Chinese Culture and Education Association in the UAE, and several members of the Chinese delegation.
The celebration aimed to strengthen the cultural and educational ties between the United Arab Emirates and the People’s Republic of China and to highlight the deep friendship that unites the two nations. The program included a variety of artistic performances and interactive workshops that showcased the beauty of the Chinese language, culture, and arts, with wide participation from University of Sharjah students.
The event concluded with a tour of the various cultural booths, where attendees enjoyed live experiences of Chinese calligraphy, traditional music, folk costumes, and art displays, in an atmosphere of cultural exchange and mutual appreciation.
