Institute of Leadership in Higher Education

The 6th Teaching and Learning Forum 2026 serves as a platform for the exchange of experiences and best practices in higher education. The forum focuses on collaborative and reciprocal community-based approaches that situate learning within real-world contexts. The theme of the forum is “Community-Engaged Teaching and Learning”.

The Institute of Leadership in Higher Education (ILHE) invites all faculty at the University of Sharjah to submit their proposals. Successful candidates will deliver a 30-minute presentation on one of the following topics related to the theme:

• Industry, Service, and Government Sector Learning Partnerships
• Service Learning to the Community
• Community-Based Participatory Research (CBPR)
• Interconnectedness: Learning as a Collaborative, Reciprocal, and Community-Centered Process
