Community Service and Knowledge Sharing with Sharjah Municipality
As part of its commitment to community service, the Central Laboratories Directorate (CLD) successfully enrolled more than 100 laboratory staff from Sharjah Municipality in the Lab Safety Training Management System. Tailored training plans were developed according to the specific nature of work in their laboratories, ensuring relevant and effective safety training.
In addition, CLD organized and delivered a virtual demonstration session led by the Lab Safety Section team. The session introduced the HSI Learning Management System (LMS) and provided step-by-step guidance on how to access, navigate, and complete assigned safety training programs. By extending our expertise beyond the University of Sharjah, this collaboration highlights CLD’s dedication to community engagement, capacity building, and promoting best practices in laboratory safety across Sharjah entities.
