Department Overview:

The Awards Management and Organizing Unit at the University of Sharjah is a pivotal strategic organizational unit concerned with promoting a culture of excellence at the institutional level for all academic, research, administrative and students, the unit is responsible for organizing and coordinating the university's participation in internal and external awards, thus highlighting outstanding efforts and appreciating the individual and institutional achievements of the university. One of its most prominent tasks is the responsibility of organizing, following up and participating in institutional awards or at the level of members of the university family locally and internationally and the internal university awards. This contributes to enhancing the university's position and competitive reputation, and the unit is also working on developing new initiatives, promoting student awards, and motivating students to participate in them. The unit is also concerned with honoring distinguished individuals and teams who have contributed positively to supporting the university's vision and mission and encourages a competitive environment that stimulates creativity and sustainable excellence, reflecting the university's leading presence in the fields of education, research, and community service.
