About
The Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Research Group (REEE) is dedicated to advancing cutting-edge research in sustainable and renewable energy, energy efficiency, and energy monitoring & management. The group is actively engaged in cutting-edge experimental research in areas including, but not limited to, solar heating and cooling systems, photovoltaic technologies, wind energy, and thermal energy storage systems. The group’s expertise also encompasses advanced modeling and simulation of energy systems, the energy–water nexus, and innovative waste-to-energy conversion technologies. In addition, REEE actively explores sustainability, energy planning, and climate change mitigation strategies.
REEE serves as a dynamic platform that fosters interdisciplinary collaboration among academia, industry, and government entities. Such collaboration plays a vital role in addressing real-world energy challenges and promoting impactful research outcomes. The ultimate mission of REEE is not only to advance scientific knowledge but also to translate research findings into practical solutions for global energy challenges, thereby contributing to a more sustainable, resilient, and energy-efficient future.
