Dr. Saed Al Shehadat, being honored at GITEX 2024 for his patented project. He was honored at the Sharjah Government Pavilion by His Excellency Sheikh Saud bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Director General of Sharjah Digital Government, in recognition of his distinguished start up and pioneering scientific contributions. The title of the patent is "The Extractor Needle". It is a needle tip for extracting endodontic separated instruments (SI) from the root canal of a tooth. The needle tip is fabricated with athermomechanicallytreatedNiTialloy exhibiting both shape memory and super-elasticity. The design of this needle has the United States Patent Number.
