CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS:

We are excited to announce the opening of The Palestinian Students Film Awards, a celebration of the next generation of Palestinian filmmakers!

This competition is dedicated to recognizing and supporting high-quality films that preserve Palestinian memory and heritage. We invite university students and young creatives to submit their short films for a chance to win cash prizes and gain international exposure.

Who can apply?
Palestinian students and young filmmakers, aged 18–30, residing in Gaza or the West Bank or University of Sharjah students. You may enter as an individual or as a group.

What are the categories?

• Best Fiction Short Film (Max 20 min) – 12,000 AED Prize
• Best Documentary Short Film (Max 20 min) – 12,000 AED Prize
• Best Animation Short Film (Max 20 min) – 6,000 AED Prize
• Honorific Mention 1 (Selected from any category) – 5,000 AED Prize
• Honorific Mention 2 (Selected from any category) – 5,000 AED Prize

Beyond the Prize:
Winning films may be considered for opportunities toward international exposure! Selected teams could receive various forms of support to help facilitate participation in international film festivals.
