The Sharjah Smart Center for Climate Resilience (SSCCR) actively engages with international partners to support collaborative research, data sharing, and integrated climate and disaster resilience initiatives.

Accordingly, the center held several meetings with the following entities to explore collaboration opportunities.

• )Josef UAE( – Switzerland

A meeting was held to explore potential collaboration opportunities between partners in the UAE and Switzerland.

• SuperMap (China)

A meeting was conducted to discuss the possibility of a Proof-of-Concept platform, following the MoU signed with the center during UAE National Day.

• LESTARI Centre for Climate, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM)

Meeting with the LESTARI Center for Climate, with a follow-up meeting planned to discuss technical details.

• Green Matrix (Indonesia)

A meeting was held to explore collaboration opportunities through the University of Sharjah International Office.

• GlobeData Sp. z o.o. (Austria)

Mr. Piotr Matuszak, CEO of GlobeData, presented the SkyHarvest system by the EU research and development agency in Vienna, Austria. The team discussed potential for collaboration and platform data access with Mr. Piotr, exploring digital elevation models, soil quality and analysis, and the various challenges which Mr. Piotr’s organization is interested in addressing.
