The SSCCR team visited the Fujairah Environment Authority (FEA) on the 4^th of September 2025 to discuss the upcoming 2026 project cohort under the Fujairah Research Center Professorship Chair at the University of Sharjah. The meeting resulted in an agreement to establish joint focus groups involving the University of Sharjah (UoS), Fujairah Research Center (FRC), and FEA. This collaborative initiative will be led by H.E. Aseela Al Mualla, the Director of Fujairah Environment Authority (FEA), and Prof. Maamar Bettayeb, Vice Chancellor for Research and Graduate Studies at UoS, reinforcing cross-institutional collaboration to advance impactful research initiatives.

On 5^th of December 2025, the SSCCR team met with a team from Benin to discuss a collaborative project between the governments of the United Arab Emirates and Benin on Integrated Climate & Disaster Resilience.
