UoS’s College of Business Administration Organized its first Career Fair With the participation of 21 entities from various local and private institutions

The College of Business Administration at the University of Sharjah organized its first Business Day "Career Fair" that aims to enable alumni and students to assess their employability and seek full time jobs and internship opportunities, facilitate open dialogue with selected industry executives, as well as view the latest trends in the job market and emerging skills required, with the participation of 21 entities from various local and private institutions, in the presence of 250 students and alumni.

The exhibition was opened by Prof. Dima Rachid Jamali, Dean of the College of Business Administration, with her welcoming speech, in which she thanked the attendees including the faculty members, students, the participating entities, and the organizers for their efforts in making this event a success, stressing its importance in achieving the goals and vision of the college by preparing business leaders, providing them with the necessary knowledge and tools, pointing out that the exhibition offers jobs and internship opportunities for students to find their passion and talents, provides them with the experience and skills necessary to prepare them for the labor market, and strengthens relations with leading companies and institutions.

For his part, His Excellency Mohamed Hilal, Founder and CEO of Mohamed Hilal Group and Board Member in the College of Business Administration Advisory Board at UoS, delivered a keynote speech at the exhibition, saying : "This exhibition represents one of the pioneering initiatives and projects that reflects the position of the Emirate of Sharjah as an inspiring global model in investing in human capital", pointing out that the exhibition represents a motivational platform to transform students professional lives into stories of success, excellence and leadership, praising the efforts of the university and the college in organizing this event, which proves that UoS is not only an educational and academic entity, but also a maker of the future generations.

The companies and institutions participated in the exhibition including Aafaq Islamic Finance, Al Batha Group, Al Ghanem Investment Group, Al Rawabi Dairy Company, Air Arabia Airline, Aramex, ARC Associates, Aurifer, Bee'ah Group, BHM Capital, Chalhoub Group, Ernst & Young (EY), Etihad Airways, Hourani Partners, Innovation Box LLC, KPMG, Majid Al Futtaim, Mars, Mohammed Hilal Group, Value Square and Wing Studio.
