His Excellency Prof. Hamid M.K. Al Naimiy, Chancellor of the University of Sharjah (UoS), received members of the board of trustees of the Arab-German Young Academy of Sciences and Humanities (AGYA), as part of their visit to the University to explore opportunities for scientific and research collaboration between UoS and AGYA. This includes organizing seminars, forums, and research activities, as well as providing opportunities for student and scholar exchanges between UoS and German universities.

The meeting was attended by Prof. Youssef Al Haik, Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs, Prof. Maamar Bettayeb, Vice Chancellor for Research and Graduate Studies, Prof. Rabih Halwani, Director of the Institute of Medical and Health Sciences Research, Prof. Abdelaziz Soufyane, Director of Office of International Relations, Prof. Tareq Osaili, Vice Dean of the College of Health Sciences, and Dr. Mahmoud Abdel-Hafiez, Associate Professor, College of Sciences, and Member of the Board of Trustees of AGYA. From the German side, several members of AGYA attended, along with Dr. Sabina Dur, Director General of AGYA.It is worth mentioning that the Arab-German Young Academy of Sciences and Humanities, based in Berlin, Germany, serves as a bridge for communication between Arab students, scholars and German institutions and universities.
