The Deanship of Students Affairs at the University of Sharjah has issued a special booklet on the university’s participation at the World Exhibition Expo 2020, that was hosted by the United Arab Emirates from October 1, 2021 to March 31, 2022.

Prof. Eid Mohammad Kanaan, Dean of Students' Affairs, said that this booklet documents all forms of participation at the exhibition and reflects the number of UoS’s students from different colleges and faculty members who got the opportunity to explore revolutionary innovations from around the world at Expo 2020.

He added that this booklet was issued according to high standards, which emphasizes the remarkable level reached by the UoS with the support and directives of Sheikh Sultan Bin Ahmed Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and President of the University of Sharjah.

Prof. Eid Mohammad Kanaan pointed that Prof. Hamid M.K. Al Naimiy, Chancellor of the University of Sharjah (UoS) in his opening speech, praised the distinguished attendees who participated in the activities of the exhibition, stating that Expo 2020 is the first World’s Fair to be held in the Middle East.

The booklet contains 125 pages of the participation of the University’s colleges and students in the activities of the World Expo 2020 with a variety of images. The booklet was distributed to the libraries of the university to serve as a reference for university students, researchers, and visitors to the UoS’s achievements.
