The Sharjah International Foundation for the History of Arab and Muslim Sciences (SIFHAMS) at the University of Sharjah (UoS) participates in the International Workshop on Malabar Heritage, organized by MES Mampad College in Kerala, India in collaboration with the Sharjah Heritage Institute and a number of Indian educational institutes. The workshop was inaugurated by Dr. Abdulaziz Almusallam, Chairman of Sharjah Institute for Heritage. In his keynote address, Prof. Mesut Idriz, Director of the Sharjah International Foundation for the History of Arab and Muslim Sciences at the UoS, pointed to the legacy of cultural contacts between the two countries and significance of its preservation.
