The University of Sharjah in cooperation with the Sharjah Police General Headquarters held a graduation ceremony for the Professional Diploma in Training of Trainers under the slogan Preparing Training Packages According to the Principles of Scientific Research which was prepared and implemented by the Center for Continuing Education and Professional Development at the University of Sharjah for 23 participants from the leadership of Sharjah Police, with 120 training hours.

The graduation ceremony was attended by Brigadier Abdullah Mubarak bin Amer, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police, along with His Excellency Prof. Hamid M.K. Al Naimiy, Chancellor of the University of Sharjah; His Excellency Brigadier Abdullah bin Nassar, Director of the Police Training Institute; his deputy Lt. Col. Muhammad bin Butti Al-Hajri; and Prof. Radhi Al Zubaidi, Director of the Center for Continuing Education and Professional Development, as well as a number of officials from both sides, and participants in the diploma program.

In his opening speech, Prof. Radhi Al Zubaidi expressed all the meanings of pride of celebrating a new constellation that works to progress in life after providing it with all the knowledge it needs within the University of Sharjah environment, whose mission is based on excellence in all that it offers to its students of science and knowledge. This vision is based on what the labor market demands, and framed by a global scientific renaissance that was built and directed by its President His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council, Ruler of Sharjah, and President of the University of Sharjah. The University proceeded with his wise vision until it has reached major global achievements in terms of academic, scientific, technical and sustainability standings.

Al-Zubaidi added that the Professional Diploma in Training of Trainers program, which was held under the slogan Preparing Training Packages According to the Principles of Scientific Research included 14 themes that flow into the objectives of the program. Training packages are practical cases chosen by members of Sharjah Police, and these packages are distinguished by the presence of an academic supervisor from the University of Sharjah professors who are attending the course, along with a practical supervisor from Sharjah Police, which made the training packages remain as basic references in the training programs for the future. During the program, 13 training packages were completed; those will be used in the training programs at the Sharjah Police Training Institute.
