The Sharjah International Foundation for the History of Arab and Muslim Sciences (SIFHAMS) at the University of Sharjah (UoS) welcomed one of the distinguished Egyptologists, Dr. Alain Zivie, Founder and Head of the French Mission at the French Embassy in Egypt, and Director of Research at the National Center for Scientific Research in France. He discussed with Prof. Mesut Idriz, Director of SIFHAMS, ways of joint cooperation between the two sides in order to serve the objectives of the two institutions.

Dr. Zivie was briefed on the aims and objectives of SIFHAMS. Thereafter, he toured SIFHAMS’s various departments and facilities, and learned about its scientific research activities and events.
