Including Several Undergraduate and Graduate Studies Programs Offered for the First Time:The University of Sharjah Accepting Early Admission Applications for the Fall Semester 2020/2021

Within the framework of the University of Sharjah's endeavor to ensure the continuity of the educational process for its students in various specializations and study programs, and in compliance with the precautionary measures taken by the United Arab Emirates to reduce the spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19). The University's Admission Department has announced the opening of admission for the Fall semester 2020/2021. For her part, Ms. Aisha Mohamed Bukhatir Al Shamsi, Director of the Admission Department, confirmed that for the first time in the University of Sharjah, a large number of new academic programs will be offered in the undergraduate, graduate and postgraduate diploma levels, including: Graduate Diploma In Ultrasound Technology Applications; Bachelor of Education in Early Childhood; Bachelor of Science in Supply Chain Management; Master of Science in Adult Intensive Care Nursing; Master of Science in Diabetes Management; Master of Science in Astronomy and Space Sciences; Master of Science in Geographical Information Systems and Remote Sensing; and PhD in Communication from the College of Communications. This brings the total programs offered by the University at the various levels to more than 104 accredited study programs. Ms. Bukhatir confirmed that the early admission period for the undergraduate programs offered by the University of Sharjah started from the April 5th, 2020 and ends on May 7th, 2020, and indicated that applying to the University will be through the electronic admission portal www.sharjah.ac.ae/oa for the sake of safety of all as receiving new students in offices at the University has stopped.

Students can know the admission requirements and procedures by visiting the Admissions Department page on the University of Sharjah's website, as well as through contacting the Department through various means of electronic communication provided by the University. The Director of the Admission Department urged students to apply during the early admissions period as there is a limited capacity.
