During an honoring ceremony held via video communication technology, His Excellency Prof. Hamid M.K. Al Naimiy, Chancellor of the University of Sharjah, conveyed the congratulations of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council, Ruler of Sharjah, President of the University of Sharjah, to (19) faculty members at the University whose promotion to higher academic ranks was recently approved by the Board of Trustees. This is based on their academic and scientific performance and their distinguished services to society. The University Chancellor also offered them congratulations and wished them continued progress and success in their work. He also praised their distinguished efforts and attention to students during this period of distance learning system. The Chancellor also urged them to give more effort in relation to scientific research activities and their work in the areas of teaching and learning, as well as to involve the University students in the scientific research process with the aim of graduating a generation of scientists and researchers who are able to contribute to their societies and develop them for the better by solving their challenges. He stressed that this is one of the most important strategic goals to which the University allocates special and great importance.
