The College of Medicine at the University of Sharjah, organized the orientation program for the students of the Master of Leadership in Health Professions Education. The University of Sharjah is delivering this program in collaboration with the University of East Anglia in the United Kingdom. Prof. Qutayba Hamid Al Heialy, Vice Chancellor for Medical Colleges and Health Sciences and Dean of College of Medicine, attended the orientation along with Prof. Esam El-Din Agamy, Dean of the Deanship of Quality Assurance, Institutional Effectiveness and Accreditation; Prof.Azzam A. Magazachi, Assistant Dean of the College of Medicine for Graduate Studies; Dr. Mohamed Hassan Taha, the program coordinator; and faculty members and supervisors.

The orientation included an introduction to the program's objectives, discussion of teaching methods, evaluation criteria, and the expected learning outcomes. The faculty members and supervisors of the program also welcomed the students, and the students expressed their aspirations and expectations from the program.
