Bachelor's Degree

Applicants to Bachelor’s programs are required to submit the following documents:

A. Personal, Identity, and Residency Documents

1. Valid Passport – A copy of a valid passport.
2. Emirates ID – A copy of a valid UAE National Identity Card.
3. Birth Certificate – A copy of the Birth Certificate.
4. Mother’s Passport – A copy of the mother’s passport.
5. Personal Photograph – A recent passport-size colour photograph.

B. Academic Documents

8. Secondary School Certificate – A certified copy of the Secondary School Certificate or its equivalent.
9. English Language Proficiency – Applicants are required to upload a copy of their English Language Proficiency Certificate (TOEFL iBT, IELTS, or PTE) through the admission e-service link.
   The certificate must be verified by the Language Institute before the course registration period.

C. Health and Conduct Documents

10. Health Fitness Certificate – The test must be completed at the University’s student clinic or any governmental authority in the UAE. Download the form.
    Applicants must write their name and University ID number and attach a photograph to the form.
11. Good Conduct Certificate – A copy of a valid Good Conduct Certificate.

D. Application Fee

12. Application Fee – AED 360 (non-refundable).

Additional Documents for Specific Applicant Categories

1. UAE Local Male Applicants

A national service completion letter or a no objection letter to complete the study from the Authority of National Service and Reserve is required.

2. Kuwaiti Applicants

A no objection letter from the Consulate General of the State of Kuwait – Cultural Office in the UAE specifying the program the student is allowed to take at the University of Sharjah is required.

3. Applicants with Foreign Certificates

Applicants who obtained secondary school certificates from outside the UAE are required to submit the following:

• A document proving that the student completed 12 years of schooling.
• A certified copy of Grades 10, 11, and 12 certificates and the Graduation Certificate (Diploma).
• An equivalent certificate from the Ministry of Education in the UAE.
• A document proving that the High School Certificate is accepted by government universities in the country from which the certificate was obtained, and an equivalent certificate from the Ministry of Education in the UAE.

4. Applicants Who Graduated Outside the UAE

Students holding certificates issued from outside the UAE must submit an equivalency certificate from the UAE Ministry of Education.

5. Bridging Program Applicants

Applicants to bridging programs are required to submit the following:

• A certified copy of the Diploma certificate.
• A certified copy of the transcript.
• Applicants who obtained the Diploma from outside the UAE or from private institutes within the country must obtain an equivalent certificate for the Diploma from the Ministry of Education in the UAE.

6. Transfer Applicants

Transfer applicants are required to submit the following additional documents:

• A certified copy of the official transcript after withdrawing from the previous institution.
• Detailed course descriptions certified by the previous university.
• Applicants transferring from an institution outside the UAE must also submit a letter of accreditation from the Ministry of Education in the UAE.
• A letter clarifying the cumulative GPA and the academic status of the student at his or her previous university.

7. Visiting Applicants

An approval letter from the student’s home university with a list of courses allowed to be taken at the University of Sharjah in the relevant semester is required.

Certificate Authentication Requirements

• Certificates issued from inside the country must be authenticated by the educational institution in which the student studied in the country, and by the Ministry of Education or the Educational Zone.
• Certificates issued from outside the country must be authenticated by the official educational authority in the country of study (such as the Ministry of Education, Boards of Education, or the British Council), the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the Embassy of the United Arab Emirates in the country of study, or the Embassy of the Country in the UAE, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates.
