On Monday, October 6, 2025, Dr. Walid Kamal Mohamed Abdelbaset, representing the Department of Physiotherapy, College of Health Sciences, University of Sharjah, participated in the Elderly Day event organized at Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Center for Communication in collaboration with the Dubai Health Authority (DHA).

This community initiative aimed to implement a variety of specialized physiotherapy activities tailored for senior citizens, emphasizing functional mobility, balance, pain management, and health promotion.
