Willingness to Care for Older Adults in Critical Care Settings and Associated Factors Among Novice Nurses

This study examines novice nurses’ willingness to care for older adults in critical care settings, alongside the specific factors that shape this readiness. It explores how a nurse's underlying attitudes toward aging and potential ageism influence their clinical confidence and the quality of care they provide. Ultimately, these findings will equip nursing educators and clinical leaders to develop targeted training and awareness programs that promote age-inclusive, respectful, and highly competent critical care
