Rapid technological developments in smartphones have revolutionized the way people manage their health through mobile health (mHealth) applications. These digital tools provide an affordable and easily accessible platform for self-care management. While university students are highly active smartphone users, their engagement behavior with mHealth apps is not well documented in the UAE. Therefore, this study will explore the use, attitudes, benefits, barriers, and overall acceptability of mHealth applications for self-care among university students in the UAE.
