The Impact of Nurses Cultural Competence on Patient Safety in Multicultural ICU Teams
This study examines how nurses' cultural competence influences patient safety outcomes within multicultural ICU teams. It explores how nurses’ awareness, attitudes, and skills in managing cultural diversity impact communication, teamwork, and the delivery of safe, effective care. Using surveys and observational data, the research aims to identify the relationship between cultural competence and the incidence of care errors, patient satisfaction, and overall safety. The findings will support the development of targeted training programs to enhance cultural sensitivity among ICU nurses and improve safety standards in diverse healthcare environments.
