Nursing knowledge-practice gaps of pain management in critical care settings in UAE
This study investigates the gaps between nursing knowledge and practice in pain management within critical care settings across the UAE. It aims to identify areas where nurses may lack updated information or confidence in implementing effective pain relief strategies, which can impact patient comfort and recovery. Using surveys and observational assessments, the research will evaluate nurses' familiarity with pain assessment tools, medication administration, and non-pharmacological interventions. The goal is to inform targeted educational interventions, ultimately enhancing pain management practices and improving outcomes for critically ill patients.
