Experiences of Students with Hearing Impairment Studying in a University: A Qualitative Study in the United Arab Emirates
This study explores the learning experiences of students with hearing impairment in a university in the United Arab Emirates. Another objective is to identify a university’s educational support systems and strategies to facilitate the learning of students with hearing impairment. Additionally, the goal of this study is to understand the barriers and facilitators that students with hearing impairments encounter when attempting to access and engage in the university educational process. The statement of the issue will be developed to address the educational disparities faced by hearing-impaired students, support initiatives to raise the standard of education, and offer practical guidance for improving their educational experiences at a university in the United Arab Emirates
