AI Use in Learning, Academic Performance, and Ethical Awareness
This study investigates the use of artificial intelligence (AI) among undergraduate students, examining its relationship with academic performance and ethical awareness. Using a quantitative, cross-sectional design, data was collected through a structured questionnaire. The findings reveal that students primarily use AI as a supportive tool for learning and understanding, rather than for complex executive tasks. Notably, the research demonstrates a positive relationship between instrumental AI use and ethical awareness; students who use AI responsibly for academic support show a deeper understanding of academic honesty. Ultimately, this study highlights the need for universities to implement structured AI ethics training and clear guidelines for responsible use
