Promoting mental health and holistic well‑being among women during pregnancy

This educational event, “Promoting mental health and holistic well‑being among women during pregnancy and motherhood,” was organized by third-year nursing students for the Maternity course under the supervision of Dr. Sawsan Abuhammad and Dr. Vidya Seshan. The event served more than 900 visitors from other colleges and the public. The event addressed a very important theme for this year, including key signs and symptoms of mental health issues during pregnancy and postpartum, the role of fathers and other family members, and guidance on appropriate nutrition and beneficial exercise for assisting in difficult situations. More than 145 students contributed to organizing the event.
