The Mentorship Workshop was delivered in a hybrid format and brought together 288 participants from public and private healthcare institutions across the UAE. The workshop focused on strengthening clinical mentorship through interactive sessions on mentorship roles and competencies, leadership and role modelling, coaching and constructive feedback, and mentorship evaluation aligned with undergraduate nursing programs. Active learning strategies such as case-based discussions, video-based activities, and digital engagement tools were used to promote meaningful participation among both in-person and online attendees. Participants from the Dubai Health Authority, Ministry of Health and Prevention, and the private sector—including nursing mentors, clinical educators, and physicians—demonstrated strong interprofessional collaboration. Overall feedback was highly positive, reflecting strong satisfaction with the relevance, clarity, and engagement of the sessions, and reinforcing the Department’s commitment to advancing academic–clinical partnerships and continuous professional development in nursing education.
