Third-year nursing students attended a training organized by University Hospital Sharjah (UHS), “Baby-Friendly Hospital Initiative (BFHI) Training“ under the supervision of Dr. Sawsan Abuhammad and Dr. Vidya Seshan with presenters Deepthy Dinesh and Nouhad Khreyss (both from UHS). Serving 150 nursing students, the session, the session blended a BFHI overview with hands-on latch/positioning practice, counselling role-plays, and simulations on skin-to-skin, early initiation, rooming-in, and safe supplementation; it also included a Q&A/quiz segment on the training content, with several students winning recognition for the highest number of correct answers.
