Annual Conference of the Arab-German Young Academy of Sciences and Humanities (AGYA) in Cooperation with the University of Sharjah

Third-year nursing students, together with other students from the College of Health Sciences, participated in the Annual Conference of the Arab-German Young Academy of Sciences and Humanities (AGYA) in cooperation with the University of Sharjah. As part of a wider interdisciplinary forum on health care management and the promotion of wellbeing, the students organized and staffed two wellbeing-focused booths that translated conference themes, such as the prevention of communicable and noncommunicable diseases, digital health and telemedicine, environmental health, and holistic well-being, into practical activities for the community. Through health education, simple assessments, and interactive discussions, the booths enabled nursing students to apply their knowledge, raise awareness on healthy lifestyles and mental wellbeing, and contribute to building healthier societies in line with the conference’s goals.
