Thanks to the generous support of H.H. Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed Al Qasimi, President of the University of Sharjah, H.E. Prof. Esam Agamy, Chancellor, and Prof. Mohamad Alemmeddine, Dean of CHS, the MLS Department has emerged as a winner in the WHX LabQ Competition for the third consecutive year, achieving second place this time. This accomplishment reflects the department’s continued dedication to academic excellence and community engagement.

We extend our sincere congratulations to the winning team, Noor Zahran and Tehreem Imtiaz, and to their mentor, Dr. Mohamad Madkour, as well as to all MLS faculty and staff, whose collective efforts contribute to the department’s ongoing success.

Students and faculty from the MLS Department also explored WHX Labs 2026, the largest regional exhibition in the field of laboratory equipment and diagnostics, which brings together leading experts, institutions, and companies to showcase the latest advancements in laboratory technologies and diagnostic innovations.
