As part of the Medical Laboratory Sciences (MLS) program’s community engagement initiatives, senior students participated in several visits to elderly care and social services centers.

1. Wednesday, 22 April 2026 – Social Services Department, Sharjah.

2. Thursday, 07 May 2026 – Social Services Department, Al-Madam.

3.Thursday, 14 May 2026 – Social Services Department, Kalba.

During these visits, senior MLS students conducted basic blood testing services for elderly individuals, including glucose, cholesterol, and uric acid testing, as well as blood pressure measurements. Through this initiative, students strengthened their practical laboratory and patient interaction skills while supporting preventive healthcare efforts and promoting the well-being of the community. Appreciation is extended to Ms. Nabila Hussain and Ms. Shaikha Al Naqbi for supervising the students, with special thanks to Ms. Nabila for representing the MLS Department alone during the Kalba visit.
