Workshop on Systems Thinking and Simulation in Healthcare
The Department of Healthcare Management successfully conducted a workshop titled “Systems Thinking and Simulation in Healthcare.” The workshop aimed to introduce core systems thinking principles relevant to healthcare, enhance understanding of interdependencies and dynamic behavior within health systems, and build hands-on skills in system dynamics modeling and simulation. Participants were introduced to the use of Vensim as a decision-support and problem-solving tool, supporting evidence-informed clinical, operational, and strategic decision-making. The session provided valuable practical insights to strengthen healthcare management, policy planning, and system-level decision-making.
