Students Benefit from a Hands-on Workshop
Mood Boards are an essential part of an interior designer’s work when presenting their design concept to a client. Interior Design students benefitted from a hands-on workshop conducted at CFAD by Pocelanosa. The Spanish tile company shared multiple samples with students featuring some of the latest materials available in the local market. The workshop focused on exposing students to a wide range of tiles and other surface materials, as well as explaining the fundamentals of creating mood boards. Workshop organizer Ms. Georgina Abood (Lecturer in Interior Design) noted that “From selecting the right colors, textures, and finishes to understanding how materials shape a space, this workshop assists students in gaining valuable insights into the creative and technical aspects of design development. It also allows students to interact and network with the design market at an early stage of their professional development.”
