Makatib showcases the outcomes of 4 Interior Design Courses

"MAKATIB," is not just about creating functional office spaces. It is about narrating the story of a company through design, textures, colors, and forms that converge to echo a company's ethos, its journey, and its aspirations. Forty-Four students divided into eleven teams were guided by a philosophy that every corner, every wall, and every piece of furniture should speak to the soul of the company they represent. What began as an experiment a few years ago, is now a collaborative celebration among multiple courses encouraging teamwork and knowledge transfer across courses. Courses involved in Makatib include Interior Design Studi III, Building Systems for Interiors, Textiles for Interiors, and Working Drawings. The Faculty team responsible for leading interior design juniors through this successful integration are Dr. Wael Rashdan, Dr. Ayman Fathy, Dr. Iman Ibrahim, Ms. Asil Albaghdadi, Ms. Nadia Albadri and Ms. Hadil El Ankouni.
