As part of the University of Sharjah’s commitment to promoting student engagement in interdisciplinary creative activities, students Hessa Al Ali and Sara Al Yasi from the Department of Sociology, College of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences, participated in the design competition organized by the university, under the supervision of Dr. Noura Al-Karbi.

Their participation reflected the integration of theoretical and practical aspects of sociology by applying social design concepts to address contemporary societal issues. This initiative represents a significant step in empowering students to express their creative ideas within an academic environment that fosters innovation and interdisciplinary collaboration.
