Master thesis entitled: A study of the writings of historians in the Arabian Gulf in the second half of the twentieth century

The Arabs gave great importance to the science of history, as it embraces a cultural accumulation and a great cultural heritage, and because the history of the Arabian Gulf is considered an extended history full of events that every historian formulates from his point of view, the current research aims to introduce historians in the Arabian Gulf in the second half of the twentieth century, revealing their tendencies in their historical writings and determining the type of sources they relied on, the research also ultimately aims to highlight the most important historical models in various sections of history.
The research relied in its methodology on combining the descriptive and analytical approach with the complete investigation of all information related to the research topic to reach the facts that define the historians of the Arabian Gulf in the second half of the twentieth century.


The research extracted a set of results that focused on historians' use of various sources in their historical writings, which enabled them to provide studies with accurate information, as well as social and political trends of that era also had an impact on the tendencies of historians in their writing, and the research demonstrated the importance of the authentic Arab approach in dealing with historical studies.
