The University of Sharjah has announced the launch of the “Sharjah International Award for the Best AI Application in Serving the Arabic Language,” as part of the second edition of the Sharjah International Conference on the Arabic Language, held under the theme “Artificial Intelligence in Service of the Arabic Language.” This initiative, under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, President of the University of Sharjah, aims to promote innovation in leveraging modern technologies to support Arabic in education and scientific research.

The award targets researchers and developers worldwide and emphasizes originality, technical quality, and adherence to scientific and ethical standards. It seeks to encourage creative AI-based solutions that enhance Arabic language learning, teaching, and research, while ensuring sustainability and global competitiveness.
