Modeling Morphological Structures with Artificial Intelligence: Derivatives and Their Semantics in the Poem of Burda as a Model

The research presents a vision for a programming project using artificial intelligence to model the lexical structures of the poem "Al-Burda." This project analyzes the morphological units in the poem "Al-Burda" and traces them back to their roots. It then reveals their morphological structure and their lexical and contextual meanings. In this study, the project was applied to the derivatives in the poem "Al-Burda" by Ka'b ibn Zuhair, as a model for Arabic poetry. The research aims to design an applied computer project that employs artificial intelligence to analyze morphological structures in Arabic poetry. This enables AI to recognize, root, and classify morphological structures such as nouns, verbs, verbal nouns, and various derivatives. It also identifies the gender (masculine or feminine) of nouns, the number (singular, dual, or plural), and the gender (definite or indefinite), as well as the lexical and contextual significance of morphological structures in poetry. The presented model will serve as the nucleus for a project to model Arabic poetry, such as the Mu'allaqat, Al-Asma'iyyat, Al-Mufaddaliyat, and ancient and modern poetic anthologies. AI can automatically analyze the structures in any poetic text. The project is of great importance in harnessing computational technologies, represented by artificial intelligence, to serve the Arabic language and in providing a qualitative applied project available to researchers based on computational linguistics to analyze morphological structures in Arabic poetry. The research followed a descriptive approach, with computational linguistics as a tool for implementation, through describing and computationally modeling morphological structures to achieve the desired objectives. The project resulted in a computer application that employs artificial intelligence in natural language processing by analyzing morphological structures in poetry and distinguishing their lexical and contextual connotations. This is a preliminary version, subject to further development.
