A PhD Dissertation inFiqh(Jurisprudence) and Its Foundations entitled: “Electronic Litigation: A foundational Jurisprudential Study, A Sample Review on the Judiciary of the United Arab Emirates"was submitted for a Viva voce defense by Mr. Ali Khamis Obaid Al Naqbi, a PhD student in the field of comparative Fiqh. The Viva Voce was held in the Ibn Hanbal Auditorium, Female Campus, College of Shari'ah and Islamic Studies, on Tuesday, October 31, 2023, at 1pm. The viva voce committee consisted of Prof. Muhammad Ali Sumeran (thesis supervisor), Prof. Khaled Ali Suleiman Bani Ahmed (external examiner), Prof. Mohammed Mahmoud Al-Emoush (internal examiner and chairman of the committee) and Dr Muhammad Umar Semai (second internal examiner).
