On July 8, 2024, Professor Mashhoor Al-Wardat, Director of the Academic Affairs Department at Sharjah Academy for Astronomy, Space Sciences and Technology , appeared on Aldhafra TV, where he commented on the first phase of the Crew Health and Performance Exploration Analog (CHAPEA). This series of analog missions is designed to simulate year-long stays on the surface of Mars, providing critical insights into human health and performance during extended space missions.
