On February 24, 2025, the Physics Society and the ACM Student Chapter at the University of Sharjah hosted a lively debate on the topic:
“Does the Increasing Use of AI in Academia Undermine Traditional Academic Skills?” The event engaged students in a critical discussion on the evolving role of artificial intelligence in higher education, highlighting both opportunities and challenges. The Physics Society team emerged as the winners of the competition.
