PGRS students attended the workshop “In Search of Meteorites: From Antarctica to the Desert Sands”, at SAASST featuring Dr. Ludovic Ferrière from the Natural History Museum Abu Dhabi and Ioannis Baziotis, Associate Professor [ Agricultural University of Athens ] .

 

With the Meteorite Lab at SAASST and the resources at the Natural History Museum in Abu Dhabi, it is an exciting time to promote awareness of meteorites and their scientific significance. The workshop highlighted opportunities for students to engage in this field, including field trips for meteorite hunting, sparking curiosity and encouraging exploration of new scientific directions.
