On 26 September 2025, students from the Petroleum Geosciences and Remote Sensing (PGRS) program visited the Mohammed bin Rashid Space Centre (MBRSC) as part of their Geologic Remote Sensing course. A few students from the Applied Physics program also joined the trip. The students were given a guided tour of the facility and its laboratories, engaging in insightful discussions about the UAE’s space missions.

 

During the visit, students explored key areas of the centre and learned about the country’s innovative space projects, gaining hands-on experience with practical applications of remote sensing and a deeper understanding of the UAE’s role and achievements in space exploration.
