Introduction

The Middle East Oil & Gas Show and Geosciences Conference (MEOS GEO) is one of the largest upstream oil, gas, and geoscience events in the . Held at Exhibition World Bahrain, it brings together professionals, young leaders, and students to exchange knowledge, showcase innovations, and explore the latest technological advancements in the energy sector. The conference features exhibitions, technical panels, cultural visits, and hands-on challenges that connect industry and academia in a collaborative environment

September 15 (Day 1 – Opening & Cultural Visits):

· Opening keynote and welcome session.

· Icebreaker challenge (Only Group B)

· Field trip to ASRY Offshore Rig Facility with a guided technical tour. (Only Group A)

· Lunch and cultural exploration at the Bahrain National Museum.

September 16 (Day 2 – Exhibition & Knowledge Sharing):

· Field trip to ASRY Offshore Rig Facility with a guided technical tour. (Only Group A)

· MEOS-GEO Opening Ceremony.

· Icebreaker challenge (Only Group B)

· Executive panel sessions with industry leaders.

· KFUPM poster showcase highlighting cutting-edge student research.

· Exhibition floor tour, including major industry booths (Aramco, SLB, Halliburton, Chevron, etc.).

 

 

September 17 (Day 3 – Technical Challenge, Part 1):

· Full-day Innovation Challenge focused on future energy themes, including energy security, affordable energy access, waste-to-energy solutions, and digital transformation in knowledge sharing.

· Team-based collaboration, problem-solving, and “Shark Tank”-style pitch preparation.

September 18 (Day 4 – Technical Challenge, Part 2 & Closing):

· Continuation of the hands-on Innovation Challenge.

· Final presentations,

· Awards and closing ceremony
